Option 1: Turn Up the Volume by the Backbeat Tours. . .

Site-seeing Tour 1 – Graceland
All will depart at 12:30 and will return to the hotel by 5:00 p.m.

This tour includes:
– Box lunch on the motorcoach
– Site inspection of the Guesthouse at Graceland (Inbound Operators)
– Tour of Graceland
– Tour of the Sun Studio

Turn up the Volume by the Backbeat Tours that allow you to follow the footsteps of Elvis by visiting Graceland and Sun Studios.  Graceland was the private retreat of the King of Rock ‘n Roll.  The family grew up and spent their time together there.  Visit the Mansion, Trophy Building, Racquetball Building and the Meditation Garden.  The Museum hosts more than 100 pieces of Elvis’ stage wear and his automobiles are on exhibit at the Automobile Museum.  And don’t miss visiting his private airplanes.  Graceland. . .the place to immerse yourself in the history that helped launch a music and pop culture revolution.

Option 2: History Meets Culture

Sightseeing Tour 2 – History Meets Culture
All will depart at 12:30 p.m. and will return to the hotel by 5:00 p.m.

This tour includes:
– Box lunch on the motor coach
– Site inspection of the Central Station Hotel (Inbound Operators)
– Site inspection of the Arrive Hotel (Inbound Operators)
– Tour of Slave Haven
– Tour of National Civil Rights Museum

Tour Slave Haven an antebellum home that was part of the underground and reveals secrets that were hidden for over 100 years.  Visit the underground hidden passages and trap doors where the runaway fugitives were kept and made passage on the Underground Railway possible.

The National Civil Rights Museum is locate at the Lorraine Motel where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in 1968.  The museum depicts the history of the historic revolution.  Visit the galleries, videos and oral presentations about this inspiring period.

Option 3: Mississippi Expedition Experiences

Sightseeing Tour 3 – Mississippi Expedition Experiences
Inbound Operators will depart at 12:30.  Suppliers/DMOs will depart at 2:00 and everyone will return at 4:30.
Maximum:  19 People

This tour includes:
– Lunch and site visit at the River Inn (Inbound Operators)
– Kayaking on the Mississippi River

Inbound Operators will enjoy a box-style lunch at the River Inn Terrace and will then meet the River Inn team and tour the hotel.

Following the tour, attendees will tip their toes in and kayak on the mighty Mississippi River.  Enjoy the scenery of this beautiful city.

Option 4: Turn Up the Brews and Taste to the World of Music

Sightseeing Tour 4 – Turn up the Brews
The motor coach will depart at 12:30 and will return at 4:30.
Maximum:  44 People

This tour includes:
– Crosstown Brewery Tour
– Experiencing the International Food Hall
– Touring/enjoying the Memphis Listening Lab

Turn up the brews by participating in the Crosstown Brewery tour and tasting your way to a variety of culinary offerings at the Global Cafe.  The Cafe hosts immigrant/refugee food entrepreneurs preparing and selling an eclectic mix of affordable priced dishes from their home countries.  Tray authentic dishes from all over the globe!

After touring the brewery, everyone will convene at the Memphis Listening Lab which has a collection of 35,000 45rpm singles, 15000 LPs, 25,000 CDs, 2,000 books and over 1,000 collectibles of musical history.  The collection represents a wide spectrum of musical genres, all of which are free to the public for listening enjoyment.
