After 25+ years, America 4 You’s owners are stepping back to let the next generation take the lead.
According to President and CEO Malcolm Ross, Lena will officially take on the role of COO, in addition to her current position as Director of Product Development.
The announcement said that Lena has proven over and over again that tourism is her passion. With a Masters in Sustainable Travel from George Washington University, she is the right person to help transition America 4 You into the next chapter.
“Lena’s industry contacts and her work with industry trade associations, for example IITA, have given her a breadth of knowledge of the tourism industry that will be invaluable in carrying America 4 You forward,” said Malcolm Ross, President and Owner. “Marita and I will continue to support her as much as it requested from us while looking forward to being part of the backbone rather than the front end of the company. That place belongs to Lena now,” said Ross. “We couldn’t be prouder knowing that our enthusiasm for anything travel has evolved into a stellar career in the tourism industry for Lena, who shares this passion and vision for the company with us.”
As IITA’s Vice Chairwoman, Lena will take over that leadership role as well on March 1.
